June 2008 SWAP MEET
Book Arts Group Meeting for June 5: Art Supply Swap
WANTED: Your leftovers, your never-useds, your barely-useds, your duplicates and triplicates, your I-only-used-it-onces, and your what-was-I-thinkings. Just because you don’t want them or need them any more doesn’t mean that another BAG member won’t see divine inspiration in your stuff.
We’re having an exchange of supplies to help all of us clear our overcrowded studios. The items to swap might include brushes, pens, pencils, markers, inks, stamps, papers, awls, cutting tools, fabrics, leathers, frames, buttons, beads, threads, yarns, needles, markers, tapes, glues, envelopes, paper-making equipment. . . . The list is endless.
We’ll have tables arranged for displaying your orphans. Consider grouping beads or scraps of paper or fabrics in plastic bags. Bind pens or markers in rubber bands.
Leftover leftovers will be donated unless you want to take them home again.
Bring a finger food snack to share. Plates, napkins, cups, ice, water, and soft drinks will appear magically for your pleasure.
To clarify, all items will be for trade only; we’ll hold a members’ sale at another time.
Please direct your questions or concerns as well as your RSVP by June 2 to either of us
